WePlay Media develops and publishes social games for web and mobile devices. When you purchase in-game virtual currency or items, our third-party payment processors collect billing information (e.g., postal address, email, financial details). WePlay Media does not store financial information like credit card numbers but may receive non-financial data (e.g., name, billing address, purchased items) to fulfill your order. Purchases made through third-party platforms (e.g., Apple, Google, Stripe) are subject to their policies.
2.8. Customer Support Correspondence
When you contact our Customer Support team, we collect and store your contact information (e.g., name, email), gameplay data, and WePlay Media or social network ID. We also retain your communications with our team to provide support.
2.9. Text Messaging Services
If you opt into SMS messaging, we collect and store your mobile phone number and any information you provide.
3. Legal Bases for Processing Personal Data (GDPR)

4.11. Stopping Use of Your Information
To request that we stop actively using your data, email privacy@weplay.media with “Delete My Account” in the subject line, including your name, email, social network ID (if applicable), and WePlay Media player ID. We will process your request within 30 days, retaining certain data only for legal or accounting purposes.
4.12. Opting Out of Geolocation
Disable geolocation access via your device’s settings or the relevant game’s settings page.
4.13. Opting Out of Non-WePlay Media App Data
If our games collect data about other apps on your device, you can opt out via the game’s settings page.
4.14. Opting Out of Promotional Communications
Unsubscribe from promotional emails by clicking the “unsubscribe” link in any email. For SMS messages, reply “STOP” to the sender or manage preferences in the relevant game. Email opt-outs will be processed within 10 business days, and SMS opt-outs will be confirmed with a response message.
4.15. Opting Out of Third-Party Tailored Advertising
Adjust your device’s ad tracking settings or reset your Advertising Identifier (e.g., IDFA). You may also use third-party tools like the Digital Advertising Alliance’s “AppChoices” app. Note that opting out of tailored ads does not eliminate ads entirely; you may still see non-personalized ads.
4.16. Opting Out of Cookie Tracking
Configure your browser to limit cookies or use Adobe’s Global Privacy Settings Panel to manage flash cookies. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of our Services.
5. International Data Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our affiliates or service providers operate. For transfers from the European Economic Area (EEA), UK, or Switzerland, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) or other approved mechanisms to ensure adequate protection, as required by GDPR and UK GDPR. We do not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no industry-standard interpretation of these signals. You can manage cookie preferences as described in “Opting Out of Cookie Tracking.”

10. Changes to Our Privacy Policy
